May 2020 Spring Challenge – Hollow Forms
June 2019

Due to a last minute demonstration cancellation, Tim Soutar graciously agreed to step in and give a demonstration on turning Spheres.

Following the concise and detailed and really interesting  demonstration, the “powers that be” suggested that this would be the subject for the Spring Challenge. As there were few negative comments heard at the front this was agreed upon.

Here are the results displayed in February 2020.

The collection of spheres on the right (Challenge 1) are on the plan of a Russian Doll. Each sphere is a threaded box.  This delightful collection is the work of Robert Dunlop.
