2019 Season’s Social

Once again, our Xmas social included the usual and much enjoyed punch supplied by Beryl and Graeme. Participation showing our favourite turnings displays and spouses arts and crafts creations was well represented. Note Emma’s tiny turning!

Festivities for 2018
Our Annual Christmas Social
This years Xmas gathering was taken up by Members Favourite Turnings, Spouses  Arts/Crafts accomplishments and of course FOOD.  Oh, and the much appreciated and sought after Punch supplied by Beryl and Graeme.
The real highlight was Phil’s announcement that Cheryl is being presented with a Meritorious Service Award  the University of Alaska Southeast for her efforts to bring back “Raven’s Tail” weaving to the Alaskan indigenous people.

Our Annual Christmas Social
This Xmas gathering was marked by NO spinning top competition (which Phil always won) and the introduction of a display of the Art and Craft work by spouses or other family members. The main part of the meeting was, as usual, devoted to “Favourite Turnings”and Eating.
